We Believe Marriage is a Gift From God.

We want to help you have a wonderful wedding and life together. St Michael’s is a historic and beautiful setting for an intimate service. St Paul’s is a welcoming modern space for a larger ceremony. Whichever you prefer, we would be delighted to welcome you.

Your Church Wedding has lots of helpful guidance on what marriage means and how to plan your ceremony – it takes you on a journey from engagement to the start of married life.

Want to know more?

There are a number of different connections you may have with us that will allow you to be married here. Just complete our online enquiry form or contact us if you prefer. The Weddings Administrator works Monday to Wednesday. We can talk you through all you need to know – you can then book your date! Please note, that Covid-19 regulations may impact when, and how, we can hold Weddings but still do get in touch and we will guide you through.

As the big day approaches, you will be invited to a Marriage Preparation meeting, it is an informal discussion about all aspects of the marriage. We go through the Marriage Service in detail and give you all the information you need to prepare. Before the ceremony there will be a rehearsal in the Church.

If you are needing your Banns of Marriage read ahead of your wedding, please fill in our form.
