THANK YOU so much to Lotte
Mackness and John Parr for arranging the splendid lunch on Lotte’s
lawn last Sunday. A wonderful
afternoon had by all, and £270 raised for Church Funds. Thank you to everyone who attended.

those who came on the Parish Pilgrimage to Hereford & the Welsh Borders in
June… If you have copies
of any photographs of the pilgrimage that could be used for a display at
our Patronal Festival, please could you let Andrew have them before the end

of the Pastoral Care Group are invited to this evening when the guest
speaker will be Anne Hodgins, speaking about her experiences in Peru and
particularly at an Orphanage run by the Sisters of Mother Theresa there.
Saturday 11th September
10.00am RIDE AND STRIDE Come and join us for a morning walk or bike ride. We will
start at Christ Church Smannell, cross over to St. George’s and then finish at St.
Michael’s. Refreshments will be available along the way. Dogs welcome
too! Money raised will go towards the Historic Churches fund.
