Welcome to all those who
have come to worship in our churches today. If you are visiting or are new to
our church, please stay for coffee after the service to get to know us and
for us to know you! If you would like more information about
our Benefice please speak to one of the Churchwardens, or contact the
Priest-in-charge, Andrew Ashdown on 01264 357032 or email Andrew@evib.net
Collect for Today Almighty God, who wonderfully created us in your
own image and yet more wonderfully restored us through your Son Jesus
Christ: grant that, as he came to
share our humanity, so we may share in the life of his divinity; who is alive
and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, One God, now and for ever. Amen
Andrew is available and happy to respond to
requests for pastoral care.
Please don’t hesitate to contact 357032 if you would like a
visit, either at home or in hospital.
Also available to bring Home Communion

TONIGHT: Sunday 28 December FEAST OF HOLY INNOCENTS. 6pm. A
Service of Commemoration and Thanksgiving for Children who have died. Christmas can be a difficult time for
those who have lost children.
This quiet, reflective service recognizes this and celebrates the
memory of loved ones. If you know
anyone who has lost a child of any age, please let them know about this
service. If you would like any
particular names remembered, please let me know. Andrew. 357032. _____________________________________________ Fridays. Morning

On Friday mornings, why not join Andrew, Jill and Chris
for Morning Prayer at St. Michael’s at 8.30am and then come along to
the Rectory for Tea and Toast!
All Welcome. A Discipleship Course based on the Eucharist. Held at the Rectory on 1st
& 3rd Wednesdays of the month. Also at 3 Parish
Pilgrimage to 25th
– 28th May 2009. 3 single spaces left. Details from Andrew: 357032. Deanery
Bookings now being taken for next year’s Baptisms. Sidespeople needed Most Baptisms during the year take place at St.
Michael’s, Knights Enham at 12.30pm after the morning service. We very
much need more Sidespeople to be available to go on a rota to help out at
this service, and it is a wonderful opportunity for sharing in the ministry
of meeting and welcoming members of the wider community into the Church at a
significant moment in their lives.
The more volunteers we have, the less you will be called upon! Please let Andrew or Lottie know asap
if you would like to be involved.
Thank you so much. _____________________________________________ Are you organising a church activity?
